MissionBridge AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

MissionBridge AI lets you create personal assistants, add reference files, chat, and choose whether to share an assistant. This policy applies to the app, web app, and MissionBridge service.

Information we collect and why

When you register or sign in, we collect your name, email address, optional username, password authentication data, and verification-code records to create and protect your account. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords. A session token is stored on your device so you can stay signed in.

When you create or use an assistant, we collect its name and instructions, files you upload, file names, extracted text, questions, responses, source references, and sharing settings. We use this information to manage your assistants, find relevant source passages, answer questions, save your conversation history, and control access. We also record your AI permission version, decision, and date so we can respect your choice.

The service records operational events such as file changes and access changes. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request times, device or browser information, and errors to operate the service and investigate misuse. MissionBridge does not sell your personal information or use private messages or files for advertising.

AI processing requires your permission

Before your first AI chat, source upload, or source reload, we explain the providers and data below and ask you to choose Allow AI Processing or Not Now. General acceptance of our policies is not AI permission. Existing accounts must also make this choice. A material change to the disclosure requires renewed permission.

OpenAI receives your question, relevant recent chat history, the assistant's name and instructions, and retrieved source passages and file names to generate an answer. Extracted document text is sent to OpenAI to produce embeddings, numerical representations used for search. Your question and relevant recent questions are also sent for embedding. We do not intentionally send your account password, verification code, or account email as part of an AI request. However, personal information you put in messages, instructions, names, or files will be included when that content is processed.

Qdrant Cloud stores extracted source passages, file names, internal assistant and file identifiers, and their embeddings. It receives question embeddings and assistant identifiers to search the appropriate sources. Embeddings are not a guarantee of anonymity. Relevant passages returned by Qdrant are then sent to OpenAI for the answer.

This permission covers future requests and processing of previously uploaded sources. On a shared assistant, the owner's instructions and sources can be processed to answer questions from permitted users. Both the person chatting and the assistant owner must allow AI processing. Do not provide another person's information without authority to share it with these providers.

Other service providers and safeguards

Resend receives your email address and verification or password-reset email content to deliver account emails. Our hosting and database providers process account records, files, conversations, and technical logs to operate MissionBridge. This infrastructure processing is separate from optional AI processing.

We require service providers handling personal information on our behalf to provide the same or equal protection required by this policy, including purpose-limited processing, confidentiality, appropriate security, controlled access, and deletion obligations. Relevant provider terms are available at https://openai.com/policies/data-processing-addendum/, https://cloud.qdrant.io/dpa, and https://resend.com/legal/dpa. A provider may retain limited records to meet its own security or legal obligations. Data can be processed outside your country depending on provider infrastructure and applicable transfer safeguards.

MissionBridge uses authentication, assistant-level access controls, and server-held service credentials. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep passwords and sharing codes private.

Your choices and shared assistants

Open Profile > AI & Data Privacy at any time to review the disclosure or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops new AI processing requests, including use of your owned assistants by other people. Requests already sent cannot be recalled. Withdrawal does not automatically delete stored sources, embeddings, or past conversations. You can still view saved chats, manage settings, remove sources, or delete your account without allowing AI processing.

Assistants are private until you share them. People with access can receive information drawn from the assistant's sources. Removing access cannot remove a copy another person has already saved outside MissionBridge.

Retention and deletion

Account records, assistant settings, source files, extracted text, search records, and saved conversations remain in active storage while needed to provide your account and assistants, until you delete the relevant content or your account. Consent and account-linked activity records remain while your account exists. Temporary AI request records expire and are used to finish or stop work safely.

Profile > Delete Account lets you permanently delete your account in the app without contacting support. After you confirm, we stop new AI processing, wait for requests already in progress, and remove your account, owned assistants, uploads, Qdrant search records, chats, memberships, verification records, and account-linked activity records from active storage. Owned shared assistants are removed for everyone. We do not report completion if required source-storage deletion fails; the app lets you retry. Copies that other people saved outside MissionBridge are not under our control.

We request OpenAI responses with storage disabled. This does not mean zero retention: OpenAI's API abuse-monitoring logs may include content and are normally retained for up to 30 days, with exceptions for legal or security needs. API content is not used for model training by default. See https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data for the applicable provider controls.

Deleting active records does not immediately erase provider backups, email-delivery records, or security logs. Those records follow the applicable provider retention and deletion terms and any legal obligations. MissionBridge does not promise immediate deletion from every backup or from requests already received by a provider.

Questions

For privacy questions or access and correction requests, use the support contact listed for MissionBridge AI on its App Store product page. Account deletion is available directly in Profile and does not require a support request.
